MEET OUR
Dr Kelly Greene
Dr. Greene received her undergraduate degree from Carroll College in Helena, MO. She attended Washington University in St. Louis for medical school and completed the first two years of residency at Barnes Hospital. She completed her residency and pulmonary/critical care fellowship at University of Washington in Seattle. She joined the faculty in the Pulmonary/Critical care division at University of Colorado for many years, but ultimately founded CPI along with Dr Portnoy. She is also ICU Director at Littleton Hospital and spends time between the ICU and clinic. Dr. Greene is a Colorado native, and enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, and spending time with her three sons and dog, Molly.
Dr Erin Riggle
Dr Riggle is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Drexel University College of Medicine and Pennsylvania State University. She completed her training in Pulmonary/Critical Care at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Riggle joined Colorado Pulmonary Intensivists group in August 2009. Dr. Riggle is President Elect of the medical staff at Littleton Hospital and involved in many quality improvement projects there. Dr. Riggle is board-certified in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Neurocritical Care. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs going hiking, snowshoeing, and traveling.
Dr Nitin Gupta
Dr Gupta is from Iowa. He received his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Iowa. He completed medical school at Des Moines University. And then completed internal medicine residency and pulmonary/critical care fellowship Mclaren Oakland Hospital. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 sons, woodworking and playing golf.
Dr Charlene Brady
Dr Brady obtained her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center - San Antonio, as well as her Internal Medicine residency. She moved back to NYC for her Critical Care Medicine fellowships. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Neurocritical Care, and Critical Care ECHO. She worked at National Jewish Health until the end of 2016. Dr. Brady joined the CPI team upon her move back to Denver. In her free time, she continues to dance as well as hike, ski, volunteer to help rescued dogs and spend quality time with her family.
Dr. Britt Logothetis
Dr. Logothetis grew up in Charleston, SC and earned her medical degree at the University of South Carolina. She then completed both her internal medicine residency and pulmonary critical care fellowship at VCU in Richmond, VA. She recently joined CPI after a move to Colorado. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, skiing and exploring different restaurants and breweries.
Dr Robert Ballard
Dr Ballard is from Kentucky. He earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Kentucky, and his Medical Doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Following his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado, Dr Ballard completed two fellowships: the first, in Pulmonary/Critical Care at Oklahoma University; the second in Pulmonary Research at National Jewish Health in Denver. Prior to joining CPI, Dr Ballard served as Professor of Medicine and Regional Medical Director of the Sleep Health Centers at National Jewish. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Barb Chesnutt, NP
Barb earned a BS in Nursing from South Dakota State University and her Master’s in Nursing with Critical Care specialization from the University of Pittsburgh. Barb previously worked in the ICU at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis and now in the ICU at Littleton hospital. She is a board and team member of Project open hearts. To date, she has volunteered at three surgical clinics in Mongolia and a fourth in Tanzania.
Ally Conrad, PA
Ally completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. She went on to receive her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI. When she is not at work you’ll find her outside with her two dogs hiking, camping, and in the winter chasing those bluebird powder days!
Kris Whitted, NP
Kris received her BS in Nursing from University of Northern Colorado. She received her master’s degree in Nursing from Regis University and a post-master's certificate from Colorado State University-Pueblo. She is board certified as a Family Nurse and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She and her husband enjoy hiking with their three dogs, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Alecia Brynda, NP
Alecia earned her BS in Microbiology and Chemistry from Texas A&M and BS of Nursing from Metropolitan State College of Denver. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from CSU with a focus in acute care and family. Outside of work she enjoys skiing, snowshoeing, swimming, and traveling with her husband and daughter.
Leah Magestro, NP
Leah graduated with her BS in Nursing from Platt College. She received her MS in Nursing with a focus in Family Medicine from Samuel Merritt University. Leah is a Colorado Native. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids.
Bree Naibauer, NP
Bree Naibauer received her BS in Biology and Chemistry and subsequently BS in Nursing from Metropolitan State College of Denver. She received her MS in Nursing. She is board certified as a Family and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Bree was selected for a fellowship in hospital medicine at the University of Colorado hospital. She is a Colorado native and loves spending time with her family.
Amy Pandorf, NP
Amy graduated with her BS in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She obtained her master’s degree in Nursing from UNMC with a focus on Family Practice and Emergency Medicine. She worked in the primary care setting in Oregon before starting with CPI. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, boating, traveling, and long walks with her dog.
